Jeez, where do I even start?

Let me start by telling you how I started clipping coupons.

I was reading the newspaper one day at lunch and read an article about a website that lists the best deals out there at pretty much any retail store imaginable. That night and checked it out, and then clicked on a few links and then a few more and the next thing you know I'd spent 5 hours reading 20 different blogs about couponing and ways to save money. I CONSIDERED IT A CRASH COURSE.

My hope is that over the next few weeks I can share with you my tips and techniques so you can save money for your family without having to figure it all out on your own.

Let me state a disclaimer: I am not the end-all be-all of frugality. I check out lots of blogs and websites every day. Thankfully there are folks out there who have made saving money their full time job, they do the leg-work that I just don't have the time for. I will often tell you about deals that they've clued me into, and I'll give credit where credit is due. Feel free to check out links to other blogs that I'll post, because if I post about them I've more than likely been following them for quite some time.

And keep in mind that no one knows what's best for your family's finances than YOU do. Take what I offer as well-informed suggestions.
