My shopping list tonight started with 8 items...and grew, and grew and grew! I ended up with an overflowing shopping cart, but once I saw all the great deals I just couldn't stop myself!
I was kicking my own butt at the end though. My poor mental math skills ended up costing me $6! More on that at the end of this post...
So here's what I took home:
Not pictured is a $33 Publix gift card...and there's where my math totally messed me up! I was trying so hard to keep track of my coupon overage on my cell phone, but my lovely husband kept calling me and I ended up messing up by $6 (if I had only put $27 on the gift card, I would have ended up paying $.35) but considering all that I walked out with, $6 isn't' so bad!
I also had a $5/$30 purchase coupon from Winn-Dixie that I forgot to use as well as some RR from Walgreens, but there's always next week.

For a grand total of...
In addition to all of the coupons listed here, I also used a $6 RR that I got from Walgreens last week for buying the Dove Men+Care body wash that I posted about here.
Like I said, I could have done things a little differently and only paid $.35, but since it was my own mistake I don't mind paying an extra $6!
Even better news is that I still have $13 in RRs to either use at Publix or Walgreens as well as another Publix gift card!
This is the first time my savings have ever gone above $200! I was so excited that I made my wonderful husband take a picture of me with my receipt (keep in mind I did work all day...and I'm not wearing any make-up!). I think it's safe to say it's the first time he's ever had to take a picture of me holding a receipt-but hopefully not the last!
