Walgreens: Spent $14.26, Saved $37.47, Made $19.00 PROFIT!

I've been putting this trip off all week, which is pretty sad considering I work right next to Walgreens. The 15% off coupon that I blogged about here was the incentive I've been looking for.

Here's what I bought:

And here's the breakdown:

Dove Men+Care Face & Body Wash
$5.99 - 15% = $5.09 - $1.25/1 MQ = $3.84

Joint Juice x 2 $10 each
$20.00 - 15% = $17 - B1G1 MQ = $8.50

Kotex Tampons x 2 On sale for 2/$6
$6 - 15% = $5.10 - $1.50/2 = $3.60

Walgreen's brand cotton rounds
$1.99 - 15% = $1.59 no coupon used

I also used a $5 RR that I received a few weeks ago for buying 2 bottles of Advil PM (which was free after my coupons) that brought my total down to $14.26.

The Dove Men+Care body wash, Joint Juice and Kotex tampons are all part of Register Reward deals, so the register printed these:

So although I may have spent $14.26 OOP (out of pocket), I got back $19.00 in RR, so my shopping trip was actually a $4.74 MONEYMAKER!

The nice thing about Walgreen's RRs is that they are programmed to print when you buy the product, it doesn't matter at what price. Even though I only paid $3.84 for the body wash, it still printed a $6 RR. The same goes for the $10 RR for the Joint Juice (only paid $8.50) and the $3 RR for the Kotex tampons (only paid $3.60 instead of the advertised $6).

And what's even better is that I have $19 in RRs to spend at Publix on Sunday!

And just in case you need proof:
